Salary Schedules

The State of Texas has three salary schedules that cover all classified positions. Each job classification in the State's Position Classification Plan corresponds to a salary schedule and salary group that provides the minium and maximum salary rate. These salary schedules are established by the Legislature during the biennial budget process.
